Canary Technology Solutions, the new $25M IT services provider for Australian mid-market and enterprise, has hired high-profile channel entrepreneur Jarrod Bloomfield to lead its new Melbourne office, while also expanding its geographic presence in other states and territories.
Bloomfield joins Canary from digital infrastructure specialist Cube Networks where he spent two years as Director of Client Engagement. He is best known as the Client Engagement Director and Co-Founder of NGage Technology Group, a high-growth reseller and managed services provider turning over in excess of $27 million when it was sold to Cirrus Networks in 2017.
“We are pleased to welcome Jarrod onboard to lead our expansion into the key Melbourne market. Jarrod’s calibre as an entrepreneur and client engagement specialist, combined with his knowledge of the Melbourne market and proven ability to grow a managed services business make him an ideal fit for Canary, which has aggressive growth and expansion ambitions of its own,” Canary Technology Solutions CEO, Steve Parsonage, said.
“I am excited by the opportunity to join Canary and play a key role in driving its growth strategy and objectives in Melbourne. The company has strong foundations, and its commitment to creating long-lasting relationships with customers on their digital journeys is a foundation we can build upon and turn Canary into the next Australian IT services success story.”
Canary has brought in Erin Fitzpatrick as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Erin was National Marketing Manager with VMtech for over four years before it was acquired by Telstra Purple. She previously spent two years as APAC Marketing Director for Cylance.
In addition, Canary has opened a Brisbane office, brought in two new Perth based consultants and moved into state-of-the-art offices in Sydney. This coincides with the brand launch, and the convergence of its constituent businesses: IT Consult, Diversus Group and BCPrise.
“Customers today are really looking for a trusted partner that has experience and capability across the technology stack, and a national presence. Our customers really value having one provider that can handle everything from the data centre to the desktop. We are now engaging with our newly expanded customer base to offer a wider range of services and launching publicly as a provider that has the size, reach and capability to be a one-stop-shop,” said Scott Bozic, Canary Technology Solutions Chief Revenue and Operations Officer.
