From 16 to 28 November, Neil Fergus of Intelligent Risks took part in the Chairman’s Trek to the Himalayas to raise money for the Australian Himalayan Foundation (AHF). Every donation helps the AHF fund its life-changing education and health programs for the Himalayan people in Nepal and Bhutan.
Participating in the Chairman’s Trek for the third time, Neil’s group was led by Peter Hilary, who has summited Everest twice, and included such noteworthy participants as Simon Balderstone AM, Neil’s long-time friend Paul Rayner and numerous other committed supporters of the AHF.
During their trip, the group visited several schools rebuilt by the AHF following the catastrophic earthquake in 2015. The group also meet many of the children who are beneficiaries of AHF education scholarships and families that have benefited from the health programs.
