Zscaler, the leader in cloud security, has announced the appointment of Heng Mok as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Asia Pacific, including Australia and New Zealand.
Based in Melbourne, Heng Mok will be supporting organisations in the Asia Pacific region with their digital transformation journey as they adopt the cloud, AI, data analytics, and remote working.
Heng Mok joins Zscaler with more than 20 years of experience working on some of Australia’s largest IT transformation programs across a range of industries, including financial services, government, and telecommunications. He also has broad security experience across several disciplines including, risk management, compliance, technical design, infrastructure security, architectural processes, application security, security architecture, and strategy.
Most recently, Heng Mok was CISO at AGL Australia, Australia’s largest integrated energy company, where he was the organisation’s CISO. During his more than five years with the company, he was responsible for architecting their cybersecurity strategy and delivering the board-funded business case to uplift overall cyber maturity to support digital transformation and agile working methods.
Heng Mok also previously worked in principal security architect and consulting roles with NAB, ANZ, and IAG and earlier on in his career was also Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
