The full program for the 35th annual Australian Security Industry Association (ASIAL) Security Conference has been unveiled with the theme of the conference revealed as ‘Security in Transformation’.
The popular conference has sold out four years in a row and this year’s two-day program will be held during the Security Exhibition & Conference at Sydney’s International Convention Centre on July 21 – 23.
Chief Executive Officer of ASIAL, Bryan de Caires, said the $10 billion private security industry with a national workforce of over 180,000 personnel, performs a critically important role as part of Australia’s national security mix.
“A strong, innovative and sustainable security industry is vital to the future growth and development of the Australian economy,” said de Caires
“Drawing on a distinguished panel of industry experts, the 35th annual ASIAL Security Conference provides a timely forum to discuss the security threats and challenges faced, and to explore strategies to mitigate them,” he said.
Security Exhibition & Conference Commercial Manager, Soren Norgaard, said this year’s event will highlight the importance of an innovative, technologically advanced and competitive security industry.
