Melbourne, November 14th – Axis Communications, the world’s leading network video vendor, has today announced the signing of an agreement with Central Security Distribution (CSD), effective immediately. The move comes following the acquisition of CSD by Anixter earlier in 2018.
CSD will distribute the full range of Axis network cameras, video encoders and other IP surveillance equipment.
“This partnership extends our reach right across the country, but will have a particular impact on regional areas of Australia via CSD’s wide network of highly experienced Business Development Managers. The move gives us another very high-touch reseller partner with a team that is capable of solving complex surveillance challenges,” said Wai King Wong, Country Manager for ANZ at Axis.
The partnership has been in development for some months, and an agreement was signed on October 1st.
“The recent acquisition of CSD by global security distributor, Anixter, has once again presented us with a world-renowned, quality brand,” said Mark Edwards, General Manager Products & Marketing at CSD. “We are excited about the opportunities that Axis presents, and are pleased that our enterprise camera solution range is now complete. This will allow us to effectively compete in all vertical markets.”
